Treasures in the country side

So cruising around with my cousin all day long to meet up with the Mini enthusiasts we stop by a gas station.  And in the distance I spotted this NA2 NSX at the other end of the lot!... I thought it was just person stopping by the gas station just like us so I ran over to take some pics.
quickly in a few seconds the owner walks up and greets me, and I give him the whole "I'm from America so we don't get this model/Your car is sweet" greeting. What was interesting is that I thought this person was leaving, however.....he was just moving around vehicles in his garage that he shares with a friend (which explains the hanging temp. plates on the front and back of the car)
The garage happens to be in the same lot as the gas station.. how convenient! So after a few words exchanged he tells me that he and his friend has SIX more NA2 NSXs inside! So I nicely asked if I can check them out and he let me and my cousin in for some pictures.
there was one of these sitting in here.
So they walk me around showing me all the goodies they have spent some serious.... serious money.
Factory Mugen Fit
and then they show me two Mugen FD2 RRs apparently only 300 were only made... I'd never thought I'd lay my eyes on one... but TWO in the same place... pfft....
engine bay shot. with all the Mugen carbon goodies.
Serial number... #275
and #291 sorry for the horrible photo... they disconnected the batteries and all I had was a phone for some extra light. I was hurrying and taking as many shots as I can. I felt like I was overstaying my welcome
 hnnggg
 HNNNGGg
He happily opened all the doors and told me to take a look inside.
The carbon seats.

Its the most intense collection of Hondas I've ever seen in HK... tucked away in the countryside... If I didn't run up to take pictures of the white NSX and talk to these two I would've missed out on some amazing things.
From the outside of the warehouse is pretty ratty looking... but from the inside its nice bright lighting, with freshly painted floors and clean walls... these guys have invested ALOT of money.

 More NSXs under covers

all those Mugen TIDBITS!

I don't even......

well that wraps it up... when I get home I'll have time to do more in depth of my trip in general. This stuff was too good to wait and post later.

5-5 Night in Tai Koo East Corporate Park

Wanted to go out for a walk after dinner since I was so stuffed. And being a total newb with my EPL-1.. I went up to the flat to read up on random shit.... anyways after a while I decided I was ready and strolled down stairs and headed a block over.
FYI: none of these pictures have any post editing, just resized so I don't have to wait an eternity for this site to upload em.

Looking towards the mall... which consists of both left and right buildings... and the two bridges that connect the two. one of the bridges is a McDonald's dining area =)
just a 4 minute walk over
this building.... I consider short for Hong Kong...what business goes on in there??.........If you guess something along "financial". you're probably right!
along the walkway @ East hotel.
in the 'Park' i guess you can say.... though there is not a patch of grass to be seen.

Since I did not have a subject to photograph and I was all alone(forever alone.....) since I wanted to practice and see what my camera can do. I chose the 7up can... however might I also add.... I regret not bringing a tripod hahah

I love 7up.........................................especially with REAL sugar.
I spent about TWO hours smashing buttons on my camera and firing away....slowly getting the hang of it... its the distance of lens to subject to background that matters...

on my walk back I spotted an RX8 abortion survivor! actually I have no idea what this is.. I was across the street and didnt want to bother to have a closer look

I should head to bed... my cousin will be taking me out early morning in his mini for Hong Kong's "Super Car Sunday".............. which really doesn't make any sense... you can walk around Causeway Bay and see super cars EVERYDAY

5-2 Victoria Peak

went out for dinner at a sports bar in Causeway Bay, then took the MTR and headed to the tram to go up to the peak
The walk over to the tram.......... I think this was the closest I've ever stood to this building
 Bottom of the tram stop.
Made it. Take a wild guess of what would be inside this building.... If you guessed "Mall" you're correct!
And here we are!
 chilled out for a bit
for a short moment the fog cleared up so then I went trigger happy with the camera. I'd post the other pics... but they're all of the same view but with different filters... I think this came out the best. kinda sucks when its fully blown up.. theres alot of noise in the picture itself.

5-1 Macau.

took something called a turbo jet, takes about 1 hour to get to Macau from Hong Kong.
Immigration/visitor form..This is about the 3rd one I've filled lol.
 departing from Hong Kong.
So my cousin in law works at TVB, pretty much hong kong's main television channel, but more specifically he works for the news portion of it. So on the walkway to go in we run in to these two cause I saw that they were holding gear with the logo on it. And my he tells me that they're going to Macau to cover some protest.  What he was telling me is that for the most part field reporters are a two man team - reporter + camera man (which carries a gnarly backpack that can live stream video back to the station)
kinda just decided to take a picture with her haha.
made it to macau, took a taxi and headed to the older side of town, but you pass the newly built casinos.
As you can see here. Macau many years ago was a colony? i guess... of the Portuguese, can really tell from the architecture.
A old hotel, in which you can still spend the night in for dirt dirt cheap prices. I dont even think theres a/c equipped.
got breakfast. more chinese donuts wrapped in rice paper with hoisin sauce.
and heres the kitchen of the place we were eating at HAHa, seriously just straight up in the alley, and the seating room is like 40 ft down the alley in a shady room. How I have not been emitted in to a hospital yet on this trip is a miracle.
A busier town square area, where they keep the original buildings intact, but on the lower floors are like stores and gift shops. few in particular was a Nike store, and a haagen daz kinda funny.
so this particular church was built in the 1800ish.. sorry it was too hot to walk around and read all the little information stuff posted. I only know that it caught fire and what not. And the interesting part of it is that the only part that exist is the part that you see. the front face of the building, in which is still obviously standing.

when going to the way back. there are ruins of a crypt. along the side (wooden slats, in between are skeleton parts on display behind glass that were found in the destruction)
This was written on the railing.
and of course there was coins and garbage on the crypt... friggen China people...
made a lunch stop, and I sucessfully found Fanta GRAPE in a BOTTLE. It was so deliciously rewarding.
driving back to i dont know.. passing the Wynn hotel. yes. same company as the hotel in vegas.
took a stroll through this. I'll post more information about it later on.
 Senna.
Here is the street where all the major hotels are built on..... look familiar???? haha
The amazing part is that this street did not exist a few years earlier, It actually use to be a body of water that ran in between two islands. So they filled the gap, and built hotels/casinos in top of it.
 'Galaxy' Hotel
Finally made it. a place well known for their Pork Chop sandwiches
I remember sitting under this tree 8 years ago. however theres no more dining area as they took that out. so you kinda just chill on the pathway to eat your sandwich.
Bread is toasted in a wood burning oven so it has that particular smokey taste to it, and in between is a juicy piece of pork chop with the bone still in it! So as your eating you gotta be careful to not bite in to the bone, and pretty much work around it.
"po-tat" Portuguese egg tarts. these amazing things are like the original but have a sugary crisped burnt layer on top of the center.

Caught a taxi back to the hotel afterwards.
picture from the outside (there is a bus that is free which takes you back to the ferry docks)
oh so i turn my phone back on since it doesnt work in Macau anyways and I get a text and have my cousin read it to me. Pretty much from the service provider to warn friggen chinese mainlanders that spitting is a 600$ hkd fine.
made it back to the flat before heading out to dinner, turned on the tele....
Oh hey, look who it is.
